In a world dominated by websites and online marketing, a well designed brochure can provide a tangible, tactile, memorable alternative. I take care to make sure each brochure I design is clear and on brand, with a visual rhythm and pace that keeps the reader engaged throughout.
Who I design brochures for
For a start up, a brochure can provide a tactile, memorable piece of marketing that can make a lasting impression with prospective customers and investors. A brochure can help to explain the benefits of a new service or product in an engaging, persuasive way.
Businesses and organisations with existing collateral can benefit from a professional brochure design. With a fresh design, layout and focus on the correct message for their audience, it can serve as a reminder to current customers of why they should choose them and not their competitor.
Individuals can benefit from a brochure design that conveys their key brand messages in a memorable way. It can explain services and products and encourage prospective customers to sit up and listen. With a compelling narrative and a distinctive style which reflects their brand, the brochure will help individuals engage their audience and stand out from competitors.
How I design brochures
To make sure the brochure design project runs smoothly, I place an emphasis on planning. I can provide guidance by helping you to think about content, pagination and appropriate tone of voice for the intended audience. We can also discuss your brand design and this should be integrated with the brochure.
It’s important to explore several creative options so you can decide upon the best approach for the design and layout of the brochure. To this end, I create three design concepts, each one showing a front cover and inside spread, or spreads. We can then discuss the pros and cons of each design option before deciding on the one we shall use for the final brochure.
Based on the chosen design concept and discussions with you or your team, I can then design a first draft of the brochure. We can then develop this draft between us until everything is in place. Once we’re all happy with the look and feel, the narrative and visual flow and the tone of voice, I can move on to produce the print ready artwork.
I can work with one of my printers, someone you use or simply send over the print ready files for you to liaise with whomever you choose. Whatever you decide, I can help and advise throughout the process to make sure the brochure is produced in the best possible way, down the smallest detail, like this:
